Halloween Dance

On Friday, October 31, 2008, We had a school dance in the gym. Some people didn’t want to go to the dance, so the teams had “Team Activities.” Some students didn’t go to the dance because they had study hall. They had to finish their work. I chose to go to the dance. The dance was awsome. Everyone had fun, Some people were fundraising. The SBA were selling drinks. The 6A Cheetahs were selling shaved ice. Sme sudents were in the gym, but since the gym was blazing hot some kids just sat near the fan. Some kids danced, and other kids formed a circle around the as they danced. Some kids didn’t buy a dance ticket, so they just sat outside and ate shaved ice and just talked. And some people just sat on the side of the gym. (inside and outside) The DJ we had was “Frequency.”

In the gym, the DJ from Frequency made up a game. We had a grade level dance competion. It was great, but I didn’t get a chance to see who won. For a second, I thought that the dance was ending early, but the speakers just blew a fuse. They fixed it and we started rockin’ out once again. I think that the speakers blew because it was loud and awsome. The teams had their team actvities. Everyone had a great time. In class, we didn’t have any work. In homebase, we even did the “Halloween Door Decorating contest.
